Of service to our community since 1992
The Hospice Charity Shop is on Bayhead Street, Stornoway the main town of the Isle of Lewis. It is open six days a week Monday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm each day. We sell a great variety of items in our shop to raise funds for the hospice, furniture, books, dvds, toys, kitchen items, linen, all sorts of bric a brac. We accept donations of goods from the public and we can when needed arrange to collect items and also deliver. We do not accept clothing but we can pass clothing on to the Heb Alpha clothes bank.
If you have something you would like to donate to us this can be arranged by telephoning the shop on 01851 706465
We are extremely grateful to the volunteers we have in the shop, without whom none of this would be possible. If you would like to become a volunteer please contact the Shop Manager Catherine J Gomez on the number above.
The charity shop raises much needed funds towards the ongoing costs of providing the hospice service which is free of charge to those on the islands who need it. The Western Isles Health Board are currently providing funding of 34% of the overall running costs. We currently estimate we need to fund raise over £370,00.00 a year to ensure our service remains free at use and of a high standard
