Of service to our community since 1992
The Nursing Home has 21 single rooms, all have en-suite toilets and shower facilities. All rooms are attractively furnished and have profiling beds.
The Home provides accomodation and care for individuals who stay in the Care Home permanently.
Bethesda is a Home of high standards devoted predominantly to the care of the frail and elderly in our community. There is a cheerful, relaxed air about the place which seems to exude peace and a unique combination of spiritual and physical aspects of care.
The Home is managed by the Registered Manager according to standards and policies agreed by the interdenominational SCIO Trustees. Policies and Procedures are available on request.
The Home is registered with the Care Inspectorate and is inspected by them on a regular basis. A copy of our most recent (or previous) Inspection Report is available on request or can be accessed at http://www.careinspectorate.com
An annual inspection is also carried out by the local Fire Officer and an Officer from the Loacal Authority's Environmental Health Department.
Bethesda Care Home is currently open to visitors However currently for the Care Home and Hospice we ask you do not visit if you have any symptoms of the coronavirus such as a cold, sore throat or cough, or if you have recently been in contact with someone who has. The best way to ensure you are safe to visit is to have a negative Lateral Flow Test before entry There are no restrictions on how many visits or visitors our residents can have each day/week.
The Hospice visiting should be discussed with staff.
